With 15 years of hands-on experience being involved in large scale commercial solar projects, we consistently faced the same critical challenge: a distinct shortage of skilled, experienced, and reliable contractors. This bottleneck didn't just delay timelines; it threatened project quality and profitability.
Off Grid Energy is a UK-based labour partner for commercial solar installation and battery storage (BESS) projects. We supply qualified AC and DC installation teams, as well as testing and commissioning services, to support developers and EPCs nationwide.
By combining compliance, safety, and detailed reporting, we make sure your solar PV projects are delivered reliably, efficiently and to specification.

Will is our business development director specialising in structuring and delivering large-scale renewable projects in the UK and across Sub-Saharan Africa with experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex pipelines.

Technical Director
Mike has spent over 20 years in renewable and distributed energy. Starting out on the tools before moving into design, management, and technical leadership.
Paul Johnson
Project Manager
Paul Johnson is one of our Site Project Managers. He holds SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and HSE certifications, ensuring our solar installation sites are run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Installation Lead
Michael brings nearly 30 years of electrical installation experience to the team. He oversees site activity with a focus on precision and consistency, managing teams to ensure timely delivery, efficient processes and reliable workmanship
